The Cranmore Inn is an historic, authentic New England country inn that first opened its doors to area travelers in 1863. It is the Mount Washington Valley 's oldest continuously operated lodging establishment.

The property consists of two buildings: The Main Inn building, which contains our traditional inn guest rooms, and the original Stables building, which has been converted into our more modern “kitchen units”.

All Cranmore Inn guest rooms, whether located in our Main Inn building or our Stables building, are air-conditioned during our Summer Season. Also during the summer months, our guests can further relax and cool down in our on-premises in-ground, heated swimming pool. Both buildings have guest rooms that can accommodate singles, couples, and families with up to six members. The Inn and Stables buildings are also “SMOKE FREE” and “PET FREE”. ( pet friendly in selected cottage rooms).

The Main Inn building and guest rooms are appointed with period furnishings from the mid-1800's through the 1930's to re-create the ambience of the original inn…with subtle “modern” upgrades to enhance our guests' comfort. All Main Inn guest rooms have antique beds, custom fitted with Queen or King mattresses and all sixteen guest rooms also have private bath facilities…A “must have” for today's country inn travelers. The main floor of the Inn consists of the inn's office, kitchen and dining room, television parlour, game room and main sitting room, where during our winter months guests can relax around a crackling fire in the large, oak-mantled fireplace. All guest rooms are located on the second and third floor of the inn, and require climbing stairs. The Main Inn is equipped with a modern central fire alarm and fire suppression sprinkler system.

No Bed and Breakfast Inn would be complete without providing its guests with a warm, hearty breakfast before heading out…and Cranmore Inn's bountiful country breakfast is sure send you off on the right foot! When you return from your day of fun exploring the area, we offer a tea service with cold beverages in the summer and hot in the winter. All year round the tea service includes our homemade cookies. It's a great way to tide you over before heading out to one of the many fine area restaurants, several of which are in walking distance of the inn.

The Stables building contains our one and two bedroom housekeeping/kitchen units. Compared to the Main Inn rooms, the Stables Units are more modern, fully furnished “condo style” units with fully equipped kitchens, living room, bath, bedroom(s), dining area and bathroom. The Stables units all have cable television, and internet access. Stables unit room rates do not include our breakfast service at the Main Inn, but breakfast is available as an option on a space-available basis.
