It's difficult to mention all the recreational activities the surrounding White Mountain National Forest presents. There are six other major downhill and cross country ski areas within a 30 minute drive. There's hiking, whitewater rafting, climbing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. The crystal clear Saco River is just 2 miles away. It's a favorite spot for fishing, swimming, tubing, canoeing and picnicing. In the fall, the favorite activity is simple leaf peeping... the mixture of foliage colors, spreading over our mountainsides, is hard to match anywhere in the world.

The White mountains also offer many man made attractions for all ages to enjoy, including mountain slides, water slides, children's amusement parks, museums and other fine choices.
